After learning boot repair in Indiana, H.J. Justin moved to Texas to start his own company in 1879. Using his experience, he built boots with improved comfort and durability. His company continues to make breakthroughs in style and wearability.

A Tradition of Work

The roots of this boot reach back to Hessian soldiers, who preferred a lower heel and narrow rounded toe so they could get into stirrups quicker. This style is still the boot of choice for riders and ranchers.This no-nonsense design features rugged golden brown cowhide that resists wear and dirt for life. It's humble and understated.
